The Resort

Peisey- Vallandry could not be in a better position to enjoy the benefits of the new Vanoise Express cable car link from Les Arcs to La Plagnes. Being ideally placed between the two extensive ski resorts, direct access to the whole of the newly formed Paradiski ski area, is at your fingertips. Vallandry is just 5 mins away in the courtesy minibus with the Vanoise express and two high speed chair lifts (4 and 6 seaters) to take you in any direction you like.

Although not everybody needs 232 pistes, 2 halfpipes, 31 black runs, 4 snow parks ……etc. Needless to say- the largest ski area in the world*, has something for every ability.


Here are some of the features of Paradiski:


• 2 skiable glaciers:
The glacier de la Chiaupe, on the slopes of Bellecôte, above la Plagne
The glacier du Varet, on the slopes of the Aiguille Rouge above Les Arcs.


• 2 peaks above 3,000 metres:
Aiguille Rouge (3,226m)
Bellecôte (3,416m)


• 232 pistes of all levels:
12 greens

1 funicular 4 light-weight cable cars 1 'Funitel' (twin-cable cable car)

  • 118 hectares of the pistes are covered by 314 snow cannons.

* Definitions vary according to the criteria used i.e - total kms of piste/ total area of domain in hectares/ number of lifts/ Blah Blah!!.. It's very big which ever way!
